Content Marketing Coordinator

Page One Publishing is seeking bright, creative minds for our digital marketing team. 

As a Content Marketing Coordinator for YAM, Spruce and Douglas you willhelp develop and implement content marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement across our digital platforms. You’ll be comfortable with writing, posting and optimizing online content specifically tailored to our various brands. 


  • Write editorial and marketing content and stories suited for each brand’s audience, ensuring consistency in style, quality and tone of voice
  • Manage the online editorial workflow for each magazine, ensuring content is uploaded on a regular basis and in line with print issue releases
  • Write and manage social media promotion for the Page One brands 
  • Develop content, and manage distribution, for reader newsletters 
  • Measure audience engagement through data analysis
  • Other marketing duties as assigned


  • Excellent copywriter with experience writing for both lifestyle and business brands as well as creative copy for advertising messages and social posts
  • Marketing experience at a junior or intermediate level
  • Strong understanding of best practices for each of the main social media channels and which content and approaches work on each 
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms
  • Basic understanding of Facebook and Google Ads
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, Loomly, and Canva
  • Bonus skills: photography and videography

Job Overview

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for designing and preparing publications, online graphics and content, advertisements, and promotional material.


The following are the key responsibilities for this role:
• design and flow entire publications
• create compelling designs that are within brand standards
• design web graphics and online content
• research and acquire supporting graphic content
• design and produce print ads, online ads, and marketing materials
• work with all team members; artists, sales, and management, with a high degree of communication
• check supplied ad material for technical soundness


To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:
• magazine publishing experience
• an excellent grasp of current design and typography trends
• detail oriented with solid technical skills and knowledge of print industry practices and standards, from pre-press to print production
• ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills
• the ability to handle multiple projects, problem solve and have an excellent sense of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
• must have ability to work remotely part time

Special Consideration
• the ability to create animated graphics for video
• experience and interest in designing for the web
• web site creation

Software Requirements
• extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) on a Mac platform.
• experience using WordPress, Mailchimp, and Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
